I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
